SIA "PDBC" primarily provides car rental and transfer services. The privacy and protection of our clients' personal data is very important to us. SIA "PDBC" is committed to protecting any personal information that a client – current, potential, or former – has provided. The purpose of this privacy policy is to provide our Client as a natural person with information about the purpose and scope of personal data processing, etc. The Privacy Policy applies to data processing regardless of the form and/or environment in which the client provides personal data (SIA "PDBC" website, mobile application, in person, in paper form, via email, or by phone).

1. Personal Data Processing

In order to conclude a car rental agreement, fulfill its obligations to the Client, and ensure the fulfillment of contractual obligations, SIA "PDBC" needs to collect, process, and store the Client's personal data. Personal data is any information related to the Client as a natural person (personal identification code, address, email, phone number, and any other information that, when compiled, can identify a specific person). SIA "PDBC" may also receive information about the Client if the Client uses SIA "PDBC" social network services.

SIA "PDBC" processes personal data for the following purposes:

1.1. Provision and ensuring of services (client identification; preparation and conclusion of contracts; car rental reservation and administration; fulfillment and ensuring of contractual obligations; communication with the Client; improvement and development of services; advertising and distribution of services or for commercial purposes; customer service; handling and processing of objections; administration of loyalty programs; customer retention, loyalty building, satisfaction measurements; payment administration; debt recovery and collection; maintenance and improvement of websites and mobile applications).

1.2. Business planning and analytics (statistics and business analysis; planning and accounting; market research; customer surveys; collection of customer feedback; implementation and provision of commercial and marketing activities).

1.3. Fulfillment of legal requirements - providing information to state administration institutions and operational activities subjects in cases and to the extent specified in external regulatory enactments.

1.4. For other specific purposes about which the Client is informed at the moment when he provides the relevant data to SIA "PDBC".

The information and personal data that the Client has provided in connection with the purposes specified in this policy will be collected, processed, and stored in accordance with the requirements of European Union regulatory enactments regarding the protection of personal data.

2. Application of the Privacy Policy

The Privacy Policy is applied to ensure privacy and personal data protection in relation to:

• natural persons - customers (including potential, former, and existing), as well as third parties who, in connection with the provision of services to the Client, receive or transfer any information to SIA "PDBC" (including contact persons, payers, etc.);
• visitors to the SIA "PDBC" office;
• visitors to SIA "PDBC" websites, social networks, and mobile applications.

3. Obtaining Personal Data

SIA "PDBC" obtains personal data as follows:

• by collecting data and information that the Client directly provides to SIA "PDBC" (by phone, email, in person, Skype, or in a virtual chat room on the website);
• by collecting data that the Client provides by filling in any forms and information fields on the SIA "PDBC" website;
• by using cookies on the SIA "PDBC" website;
• by receiving authorizations from other persons with included personal data.

4. Legal Basis for Personal Data Processing

SIA "PDBC" processes Client's personal data based on the following legal grounds:

4.1. for the conclusion and performance of a contract - to conclude a contract with the Client and ensure its fulfillment;

4.2. compliance with regulatory enactments - to fulfill the obligations specified in the binding external regulatory enactments;

4.3. in accordance with the Client's consent;

4.4. protection of legitimate interests - to implement SIA "PDBC" legitimate interests arising from the contract concluded between SIA "PDBC" and the Client or from law:

Within the framework of this policy, SIA "PDBC" legitimate interests are considered to be:

• the right to engage in commercial activity;
• provide car rental and transfer services;
• verify the Client's identity before concluding a contract;
• ensure the fulfillment of contractual obligations;
• prevent unjustified financial risks for business;
• retain Customer applications;
• communicate with the Client;
• administration of the Client's participation in the loyalty program;
• analyze the operation of SIA "PDBC" websites, internet sites, and mobile applications, develop and implement improvements to them;
• administer the Client's account on the SIA "PDBC" website, internet, and mobile sites;
• segment the customer database for more efficient service provision;
• advertise services by sending commercial notifications;
• send other messages about the progress of the contract performance and events significant for the contract performance;
• conduct customer surveys and questionnaires about services;
• conduct marketing activities;
• prevent fraud;
• ensure financial and business accounting and analytics;
• ensure effective company management processes;
• ensure the efficiency of service provision;
• ensure and improve the quality of services;
• administer payments;
• administer outstanding payments;
• appeal to state administration and operational activity institutions, court, or debt collection companies to protect their legitimate interests;

5. Storage of Personal Data

SIA "PDBC" obtained personal data about the Client is stored both in paper format and in the company's information system. Personal data is stored as long as it is necessary for the purpose of data processing for which it was obtained. In actual practice, personal data is stored as long as there is reason to believe that claims may be made in connection with the contractual relationship between the Client and SIA "PDBC".

Personal data that is no longer necessary for the specific purpose is deleted. The Client has the right at any time to request the restoration of their data, information about the use of their personal data, as well as to request the deletion of their data.

6. Communication with the Client

SIA "PDBC" communicates with the Client using the contact information provided by the Client - calling or sending text messages to the specified phone number, sending emails, sending letters/notices to the Client's postal address.

SIA "PDBC" communicates with the Client regarding the reservation of services provided based on the Client's request, but regarding the fulfillment of contractual obligations - based on the concluded contract.

SIA "PDBC" may communicate with the Client within the framework of commercial announcements and/or marketing activities (for example, informing the Client about news, special offers, information about SIA "PDBC" services, discounts, promotions, as well as upcoming events and competitions. SIA "PDBC" performs this type of communication in accordance with the provisions of external regulatory enactments or in accordance with the Client's consent.

The Client can give consent to receive commercial announcements and/or information about marketing activities on the SIA "PDBC" website, on-site at the office, using email; such consent is valid until its withdrawal. The Client can withdraw consent by sending a letter, email, or in person at the SIA "PDBC" office.

SIA "PDBC" may also communicate with the Client in other cases (for example, responding to Client's submissions, requests; conducting customer satisfaction surveys).

7. Disclosure of Information to Third Parties

The collected data will not be transferred to third parties, but under certain circumstances, if necessary for the data processing purposes specified here, or if such an obligation is imposed by regulatory enactments, SIA "PDBC" may transfer the Client's personal information and data to third parties:

• if the data must be transferred to the relevant third party within the framework of a concluded contract, to perform a function necessary for the performance of the contract or delegated by law (for example, to a bank, accounting service provider within the framework of settlements);
• to IT service companies – for data storage and maintenance of information systems;
• in accordance with the Client's explicit consent;
• to persons provided for in external regulatory enactments upon their justified request, in the manner and to the extent specified in external regulatory enactments;
• for the protection of SIA "PDBC" legitimate interests (for example, by applying to court, debt collectors, or other responsible institutions);
• in the event that SIA "PDBC" in good faith believes that the disclosure of data is necessary to protect other SIA "PDBC" rights (for example, to investigate potential violations of SIA "PDBC" rules and conditions or to determine, prevent or detect fraud or other security issues).

8. Use of Cookies
